About Bridy

A small studio for the biggest day.

Bridy is the work of stationers, designers, and engineers who believe a digital invitation can carry as much weight — and as much love — as a letterpress envelope. We make every detail by hand, then ship it as software.

Our story

How Bridy began.

It started with a single envelope. In the autumn of 2021, our founder Mira mailed 142 hand-pressed invitations for her sister's wedding — and watched, over six weeks, as twenty-three of them never reached the right address. The RSVPs trickled back in three colors of pen, two languages, and a handful of polaroids tucked inside the cards.

It was beautiful. It was also, quietly, a logistical disaster.

A year later, Bridy launched as a tiny side project: a website where two people could send one invitation that felt as considered as the paper version, while the messy parts — addresses, dietary requests, shuttle times — looked after themselves.

"We are not building software for weddings. We are building a small, careful place where two people put their day together."

Today, Bridy is fifteen people across Vancouver, Lisbon, and Tokyo. We design every theme in-house, never sell ads, and answer every concierge note ourselves — because the day matters that much.

What we believe

Six quiet commitments.

The principles below aren't slogans on a wall — they're how we decide what to build, what to remove, and how to write a single line of copy.

Care, not features

Every screen should feel like it was made for one couple — yours. We refuse roadmap items if they don't pass that test.

Restraint over noise

One typeface family. One palette. One clear next step. The most luxurious thing on a page is empty space.

Built for everywhere

Across 23 languages, four scripts, and every corner of the world a guest may open their phone — Bridy reads beautifully.

Privacy as default

Guest data lives in your event, never in an ad system. No trackers, no resale, no "personalized offers."

Craft over speed

We'd rather ship one theme that feels inevitable than ten that feel "good enough." A wedding is not "good enough."

Real humans, always

Every concierge note is answered by a real person within a few hours. No bots, no scripts, no "ticket number 8412."
