How Bridy began.
It started with a single envelope. In the autumn of 2021, our founder Mira mailed 142 hand-pressed invitations for her sister's wedding — and watched, over six weeks, as twenty-three of them never reached the right address. The RSVPs trickled back in three colors of pen, two languages, and a handful of polaroids tucked inside the cards.
It was beautiful. It was also, quietly, a logistical disaster.
A year later, Bridy launched as a tiny side project: a website where two people could send one invitation that felt as considered as the paper version, while the messy parts — addresses, dietary requests, shuttle times — looked after themselves.
Today, Bridy is fifteen people across Vancouver, Lisbon, and Tokyo. We design every theme in-house, never sell ads, and answer every concierge note ourselves — because the day matters that much.
