Cookie Policy
A short, honest list of every cookie we use, why we use it, and how to switch it off.
Last updated: May 12, 2026
1. What are cookies
Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. They let a site remember things about you — your language, that you're logged in, what's in your cart — so the experience runs smoothly between page loads.
This page is a complete list of the cookies we use on bridy.example and what each one does.
2. Strictly necessary cookies
These cookies are required for the site to work. They cannot be turned off without breaking sign-in or checkout.
bridy_session— keeps you logged in (session, expires when you close the browser)bridy_csrf— protects forms against cross-site request forgery (session)bridy_pay— supports the secure checkout flow (15 minutes)
3. Preferences
These cookies remember small choices you've made so we don't ask twice.
bridy_lang— your preferred site language (12 months)bridy_currency— your selected pricing currency (12 months)
4. Analytics
We use Plausible Analytics, which is GDPR-friendly by design: it uses no cookies, collects no personal data, and does not track users across sites. We see only aggregated page views and broad browser and region statistics. We chose Plausible specifically so we don't need to ask you for analytics consent.
5. Third-party cookies
When you check out, our payment provider Stripe sets its own cookies for fraud prevention. Stripe's cookies are essential to processing your payment securely and are governed by Stripe's Privacy Policy.
We do not use:
- Marketing or advertising cookies
- Cross-site tracking pixels
- Social media tracking cookies (no Facebook Pixel, no LinkedIn Insight, etc.)
- Embedded "Like" or "Share" widgets that fetch third-party scripts
6. Managing cookies
You can clear or block cookies in your browser's settings. Blocking strictly-necessary cookies will prevent you from signing in or completing checkout — the rest are safe to block without breaking anything.
- Chrome — Settings → Privacy and security → Cookies and other site data
- Safari — Settings → Privacy
- Firefox — Settings → Privacy & Security
- Edge — Settings → Cookies and site permissions
7. Do Not Track
We honor browser Do Not Track signals. If your browser sends DNT, we do not load analytics scripts on your visit. Strictly-necessary cookies still work because they're required to deliver the service you asked for.
8. Changes to this policy
We will update this policy whenever our cookie use changes. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the current version.
