Refund Policy
Custom design takes hours we can't get back, so refund eligibility depends on how far we've gone. Here's exactly how it works — by package.

1. Overview
Bridy is a custom design service. From the moment you place an order, our team begins putting in hours that we cannot recover. Our refund policy reflects that — the earlier you cancel, the more we can refund.
This policy applies to all packages (Essential, Premium, Signature) and any extras. The rules are different for each because the work pattern is different.
2. Essential package — €89
Essential is delivered within 1 business day, so the work window is short.
- Before design work begins (typically within 6 hours of order): full refund
- After design work begins, before first preview: 50% refund
- After first preview delivered: no refund; we will use your second adjustment round to make changes
4. Signature package — €989
Signature is bespoke creative work. Once design begins, the hours invested are largely non-recoverable.
- Before kickoff call: full refund within 7 days of order
- After kickoff, before first design draft: 60% refund
- After first design draft delivered: 25% refund
- After final delivery: no refund
5. Extras
Priority delivery
Refundable in full only if we miss the priority deadline due to our own fault. If we deliver on time, the priority fee is non-refundable.
Gift registry · Wedding gallery · Custom illustration · Animated video
Refundable in full before work has started. Once we've begun, refunds are prorated against hours invested.
6. How to request a refund
Email hello@bridy.cc with:
- Your order number
- The name and email used to place the order
- A brief note on what's not working for you
You don't need to provide a reason to get a refund — we ask so we can improve.
7. Processing & timeline
We review eligible refund requests within 2 business days and process approved refunds within 5 business days. After that, Stripe typically returns funds to your card within an additional 5–10 business days. SEPA returns may take a few days longer.
8. Chargebacks
Please contact us before initiating a chargeback with your bank. The vast majority of issues are easier to resolve directly. A chargeback initiated while a refund is already in progress may delay or void that resolution.
9. Postponed or cancelled weddings
If your wedding is postponed, your invitation does not expire — we hold your design and deploy it for your new date at no extra cost. There is nothing to refund because nothing is lost.
If your wedding is cancelled entirely, please contact us. We will review your situation case by case with compassion — life happens, and we'd rather find a fair outcome than hide behind a policy.
